Meet Sara (sister #2-the younger of the two):

Hey y’all:

I’m Sara and am brand new to this whole “run your own business” thing.  I’m beyond excited for this new adventure the good Lord above is providing for myself and my family, and I am overwhelmed at the support of my loving husband, family, and friends.  I have been in sports medicine as an Athletic Trainer for the past 10 years–to say I’m taking a leap of Faith on a brand new adventure that has nothing at all to do with my area of expertise is a complete understatement HA!  My job recently took a drastic change of direction and I think this is the new door God is pushing me through–I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds!  Thank you in advance for visiting our site and showing us your love and support.  My sister and I are ready to dive into this gig and see what it’s all about!  Please contact us and let us know how we can help you–I look forward to meeting you on delivery day!!

Meet Shay (sister #1-often mistaken for the younger of the two):

And I would be Shay, AKA, Sister #1.  A contractor, designer and self-proclaimed handy-woman.  A believer in God, wife to a cotton farmer, and mother of two beautiful, spiritual and unstoppable children.  I started in design before I graduated from college.  Struggling on a daily basis to balance the need for creative outlets while pursuing degrees in Biology and Genetics, I always had my hands in some sort of project.  I was painting, building and dreaming while tackling Punnet Squares, statistics and the transfer of RNA.  Graduation led to a career in the medical field which had me helping patients but I was filling my soul with side projects designing residential and commercial properties, decorating, color consulting, customizing spaces, etc.  I always had multiple design projects going.  I just couldn’t shake the need to be creative and meeting my husband brought everything full circle.  Chris’s support in me pursuing my creative side was the push I needed to run from the monotony of medical sales and dive into design full-time with my arms wide-open.  After leaving the medical field behind, I used my experience with design to start Pinspired, a DIY workshop that specialized in turning pins into reality, and Pinspired is what led to the concept of “Front Door Decor”.  I was sneakily exchanging the wreath on my sister’s door with one I had made at Pinspired (and that I felt would be more appropriate for a Halloween party she was hosting) when it hit me…the “sneaky door decorating” would make a great business!  Take out the “sneaky”, and less than a year later, here we are.
